How soon can "construction" begin? Will it be on the FWW project list?

Now the big question is:  Who's going to admit scratching their initials into the new concrete?   ???

Fred and I sealed the concrete on Saturday.  There were no scratches, dents nor animal prints (including human). :)

Thank you Bredan for the coverage. That museum that is going to host the amazing MNG collection will be surely a plus for the WW&F turnout  as soon as it's open, which wont take long given the pace works are coming along.

Sooo, when can we get the narrow gauge convention back in Maine?  With all this additional work completed, people will be hopping to see what we have done.

The narrow gauge convention is planned several years ahead so I would think the next open year is at least five years from now so 2024 or 2025

Brendan Barry and assistants have been busy on the car barn extension.  Leading up to today (Saturday, October 26th), the sills had been installed.  Today, some of the vertical posts were installed.

First thing this morning at 8.41 a.m.  It had rained overnight.

The view at lunchtime.

What–me worry?

It's amazing what the weekday crew can accomplish in a short period of time.  Congratulations.  (Sorry I could not join you this week...)

Hope we can put trusses up this coming week. A lot will depend on the weather and wind.

The campus will look a lot different this spring, with the display track by the garage, the third turntable lead with a locomotive on it, the expanded car barn.

I am sure it is in the plan, but might I suggest a gravel path from the parking lot to the car barn to encourage visitors to see what is there?  Perhaps a large sign directing folks to the static display.
