Last weekend Brendan said at the board meeting he needed help for 1 day to get the rails all in place and ready , then he was going to call the cement contractor.

Fantabulous!! Great work, fellers. Sure looked bizzy.
Now, AFAIK... the concrete curing rules...3 days for 50% strength, 7 days 70%, 28 days 90%+.
I can almost hear the hammers and saws ripping into the coming wall and truss  roof work!

Don't forget to chase the graffiti kids and neighborhood doggies away.  ;D

So at a future date will you pour a concrete floor for the rest of the car barn?

The current plan is at some point the eastern bulge to the barn structure will extend further north, but that's Phase II.  Although it wouldn't surprise me to see the rest of the barn get concrete someday, the current plan is to put in reclaim for a floor surface.

Brandon and gang,

Great job.  And just in time for the FWW so the rest of us can "hoooo and ahhhhhh" over it.

Congratulations to all involved with the project! That concrete transporting/pouring rig is a fascinating apparatus...almost seeming to defy the laws of physics that it can reach out so far without the whole works tipping over.

That concrete pumper/spreader saves loads of time, trouble and work, quickly getting that heavy, sloppy "mud" placed.
The guy who invented it must be mega-rich.  ;)

James...will the reclaim be crushed, used, compacted asphalt paving?

Now the big question is:  Who's going to admit scratching their initials into the new concrete?   ???
