Of course I would expect that discussion would be in the Members only section or the BOD minutes.

Lots going on, including the amazing progress of the 21 Campaign, and many other interesting toics for this coming year. Other things discussed at the BOD meeting will be released in due time when things are ready.

For the time being, it's too sensitive for even that.  It's nothing sinister or bad, don't worry.

We all wait with baited breath.  But everyone is free to choose their own bait...…  :o

Work done on Saturday Jan 12: It was *cold*

* Mountain Extension: a good cutting crew just south of the bridge today.  We got a good sized swath cleared.
* Flatcar 34: Zack was making square holes in the end beam.
* Shop: Alan was working in the carpenter and machine shop.
* Board meeting: ran long, good discussions.  Look for a statement about the Mysterious Thing coming out in the next two weeks (depending on who you are).

A photo of some of the tree cutting crew:  Fred Morse; Steve Zuppa; Mike Fox; Ed Lecuyer; Capt. J.B. Smith; and James Patten.  Not in the photo:  Zack Wyllie; Stewart Rhine; and me.

I was quite bundled.  Long johns and insulated jeans with heavy socks and the winter boots; on top was two shirts, a sweatjacket, fleece, and heavy RR winter jacket, with my heavy orange burning hat.  For some reason my insulated winter work gloves aren't on, but they weren't off often.

The only cold thing about me was my nose.  On my way back at noon I looked in the rear view mirror and discovered ice on my mustache and beard.

Having just turned 73 this month, I understand about that chair thing!
