Sensitive areas are places that we never knew existed, like a Vernal Pool that we (DEP, Jason and I) found on our tour of the mountain. DEP gave us a run down on what we were looking at and what to look for.
So the Vernal Pool, the Shoreland Zone at the bridge site and at the wall are all sensitive. Other locations, like the low flow area next to where we are working, are not as sensitive, but still deserve special treatment because of how easy it would be to damage the area, and cause some erosion. The trees and vegetation help hold it all together.
