A few photos from the Amherst Railway Society show at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, MA.  John McNamara organized our WW&F show crew that included Susan Hackett, Marcel Levesque, Duncan Mackiewicz, Dan Malkowski, Joan Mehan, Cindy Rhine and Nancy Weeks.  Nancy provided great lunches for the crew both Saturday and Sunday (Thanks!).
Many, many thanks to the crew, especially to the Transportation Department (Bill, Joan, and Cindy).

Thank you all for representing the Railway this weekend! Wondering about conversations that were had at the table- were there any really interesting questions or new folks interested in memberships/volunteering?

The answer is yes.  Regarding questions, most were about the collaboration or our Mountain Extension.  I encouraged folks I spoke with to visit the Maine Narrow Gauge tables or email info@wwfry.org with questions I couldn't answer.  Everyone I spoke with was enthusiastic about the collaboration with ML&MW, MNG and the WW&F.

Regarding the Mountain Extension, I encouraged folks to come visit during the spring and fall work weekends, where they could watch and/or join the fun!  We had the Great Falls Model Railroad Club's video of our 2018 Fall Work Weekend playing which attracted much attention.

I believe we had at least 10 new memberships and renewals, though I expect Susan, Joan and Cindy can provide a much more accurate answer than I.
What–me worry?

And a long distance Happy Birthday to Fred!

Thanks to all of you who brave the cold for the tree felling operations.

I am looking forward to hearing about the research that Mike Fox has been doing on the #34 flat car. I do not have any pictures of it in my Edaville Railroad Roster; but I believe it was down there.

Hi Ted. Research is done, we just need to discuss it at the board meeting. We ran long last month and did not talk about it.
