Anticipated work for Saturday Oct 13:

Given that last weekend was FWW, I would expect a light volunteer presence.

* Board meeting at 4:00.
* Only 3 trains, on Saturday only.
* FWW cleanup

I would like to go to the Pinch Point and add to the drain pipe, then do some clean up there. In the afternoon I plan to work at Sheepscot, touching up where the conduit was buried, and maybe work by the container.

Mike...is it allowed to clean up, remove un-needed bracing, etc, at Da Bridge?

They have cleaned the bridge site and I thought had posted photos. Maybe I will venture that way too and take a few myself.

Yes, bridge site was cleaned up on 9/29 & 9/30. This included any blocks, ties, tools, etc.

I'll be continuing to work on the overhead crane installation in bays 1 and 3- primarily tsking measurements  and  starting to prep and drill the overhead segements. An extra hand or two would always be welcome.

Today, Two pick-up truck loads of pile ends were cut up and taken to the transfer station by Steve Z. and I.

I was about to get concerned Fred.  Not a word about track materials for the SWW although there's work to be done.  Not to mention we have a whole bunch of ties needed for crossing the bridge and a runaround track to build next fall!

Work done today.
James showed up early and promptly left us to go get his trolley fix at Seashore Trolley Museum. He returned in time for the meeting.

Brendan moved some timbers around, Zack worked on the stairs and Fred played Gopher.

The Boom Truck and the red trailer were returned to Sheepscot this morning from the Mountain Extension.

The forklift was having a fuel issue, so Brendan and Jason tackled that after lunch. All fixed.

A little more room was made in the parking lot after lunch.

Allan puttered in the machine shop.

Enough riders to run all three trips.

The 12:00 train was annulled for lack of passengers. We had visitors from Wisconsin, Long Island, Colorado and Indiana along with a few locals.
The Board endured a four hour meeting.

Mostly clean-up from work weekend. Stacked almost 100 good ties. Stacked for drying out. Lite rain most of the day. Took a number of ties of the flat car, these were ties removed last Spring. Hope to cut a few up to take to transfer station sometime this coming week. Trying to keep it to Two or Three loads per week. A lot of other work this coming week. Thanks for all the help Sat. in doing these hard jobs that have to be done. Fred.
