Savery,
What a great shot in browntone. It really has the old-time look. Thanks for sharing.

[Moderator's Note]

I split off the discussion that involves 1910 days and a steam shovel.

Saturday, my son and I went to Whitwell (TN) Middle School to see the Holocaust exhibit, The Paperclip Project, made by the middle school students about 10 years ago. Instead of fancy push button playback devices, they have tape recorders you can borrow which tell about the Holocaust and their project if you can't get there at 10 a.m. Fridays for the middle school volunteer docent. If you can't get there during school hours, you can go by the police station to get a recorder.
Maybe the WW&F guys and gals could write a script and put it on tape and get tape recorders so that people could go around the site and be informed about what every area is. If would be pretty cheap.
Getting youngsters interested in the two-footers, old Maine and the way things were before WWII are quite important. I hope you can do it.
