I had my first review this morning. Steve Z said I got most of my facts right... I did pick up a few inadvertences like calling Boxcar 309 319. I’m sure Jason will let me know the rest. Bill and John, you can pick up your checks next Saturday.
It was fun. I was told it would either drag or I wouldn’t even know the half hour had passed. Fortunately it was the latter. Abby seemed to have a real enthusiasm for what we do.
Nonetheless, I won’t quit my day job anytime soon.

Bravo Dave and a great listening exercise for me. A long time back the AMTP Président and I were interviewed on the Orlean's local TV and we both felt nervous about it but your are right the time had gone by quickly speaking about our passion and the AMTP.

Can we get rights to use the video and portions of it for museum purposes? Never hurts to have stock footage that can be assembled into a marketing video for propoective donors/foundations/businesses/granting institutions/sponsors ....

Great job Dave.  Your calm and inviting style will attract more people to join the volunteers.  The friendly atmosphere of the railroad is what attracted me.  Even though I only get up there twice a year, I am made to feel at home.

Thank you all for your kind comments. When I spoke of us being like a second family it came from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to work weekends because they really are a family reunion to me. It’s a family I especially choose to be with. Alain, Alex and Carl you must make the effort to come for a work weekend to experience the magic!

It really is a big family, and Dave you couldn't have said it better in the interview. Fred was one of the first guys Dad and I met, and Dana was the first volunteer we worked along side. This Spring WW will be the start of our 13th year, seems like just yesterday.
