I tried fixing the link but it didn't work.  There's an issue on Photobucket's end.

If you go to Mike's photobucket account you can see a thumbnail of the photo.  I'll wait for Mike's permission before I do that directly.

Anticipated work for weekend of May 27: the first full weekend of our summer season.  Steam!

* Stone: If we have taken delivery of any stone, we should spread some of it out by MP 7, and anywhere else the weekday crew want to work.
* 1015: Wheel installation, maybe?
* Boxcar 67
* Rules review and training trip

Wheel installation and a little modification to the towbar and tow point. Touch up painting. And after lunch I would luke to walk the mountain again, with a tape measure, to get accurate measurements of the locations. We are doing this in feet from MP 7, and will probably start there to verify the wheel measurements from a couple years ago.

I will be around tomorrow, most likely to begin the annual walk, and start assessing track work that needs to be done. Once completed, a plan can be formed to hopefully get a crew of 8-12 guys together sometime soon to do some work. There are lots of spots that should be ligned prior to being surfaced.

The Sunday post on facebook has some of the news -

* Equipment car 1015 - A drawbar plate was added and the first wheelset was installed on the south end.  The other wheelset is under the car but not yet set in the bearings.

* Boxcar #67 - Zack built the second door and the screw holes have been filled on the first door.  Primer paint will be done this week.

* Coach #8 - Randy set the side door on rollers and tested the open/close travel.  The door hangers and track were painted.  Measurements were taken to install the guide rail on the floor. (This has now been installed and tested)

* Track - Joe walked the mainline and marked ties for replacement.  A load of stone was taken to ToM and spread on the mill spur.

* Freight car trucks -Jay got one truck ready to swap with ML&M in exchange for the correct truck for #67 so the car will have a matched set. (The exchange was yesterday).

* Visitors - Combined totals from Saturday and Sunday were about 110.
