Anticipated work for Saturday March 5:

* Car barn doors - one might be ready to mount.
* Vacuum brake project
* Kubota engine restoration
* ToM tree cutting (one corner is at the road) - this may be the last weekend of cutting there

The woods you guys are clearing look DENSE, with lots of both hardwood and evergreen trees,  thicker than the '50s woods of not-then-developed Staten Island.
Must be your typical Maine forest.  
Would it be possible to get drone shots of the site/project?

Zack...your cb door work is terrific. Tell the boss you deserve a raise, take a week off.   ;)

Looks like a good Sat. coming up, I hope we have a burning permit. I'll be over tomorrow to sharpen saws and mix gas.

Work done on Saturday March 5

* Car barn doors: we raised the second door in the middle bay of the car barn.  See picture below.  Zack went back to working on making door #5.
* ToM cutting: Mike got his section completely cut (finally!) and on the north side we continued up next to the road to Porcupine Palace.
* Vacuum brake concept: Jason did some more work on the concept set up.  I should get a picture of it (I don't have one).
* Kubota: Mike got the engine up to the garage and then broke something.  Another something is shipping and should arrive this coming week, so Mike hopes to be ready for digging in 2 weeks (the ground might not agree).
* Shingle mill engine: Mike tried to get the Continental engine started, it almost did.

Yes, that was the high light of my day. Fred let me use his old saw,  and he had the chain very sharp.

Excavator has a small broken bolt, and rathrr than start trying to get it out today, I changed projects and went to mess with the continental. I have to pick up a new bolt anyhow, as it is metric and we are not.

Everything ready for the last tree cutting this year. The back hoe and dozer will do the next work there. We have to put up one door first.
