My own feeling is that, being a railroad related structure, it should be painted to match the engine house.

 I agree ,he said coming from left field ,which happens to be in New Jersey. If you've decided on how to paint the future roundhouse..then the carbarn should be the same. Thank you...I retreating to left field .................

I realize this is jumping ahead a bit, but has any decision been made regarding what color(s) the carbarn will be painted?

I asked Start that question a couple of times, but he hasn't wanted to hear any of it, for some reason.   

I may have phrased the question, "What color are you painting the car barn?"  He's led the painting work on the other Sheepscot railroad buildings.  Can't understand why he may want a break.

Shoot, Stewart could have it painted before the narrow gauge convention.

Zack has finished the door trim and added a second man door at the front of the barn. Leon designed, built and installed the hardware to hold the barn doors open. Zack is working on installing boards around the bottom interior of the car barn to keep ballast out of the vent space.

You can see where the frame of door #1 (door #5??) has been blessed by #9.
