With all the water in the pics, I wonder if the track will sink out of site when it gets a car on it.  Is more drainage planned?

Tom, I am thinking of a small ditch only 6 inches or so deep will do the trick. But the track will also be sitting on 2 plus inches of stone under the ties. Should not be mud inside after we finish.

Especially if the roof does not leak.

Any consideration to insulation in the roof to prevent condensation.
I did this on my 44' x 60' pole barn and it stopped any dripping.

Tar paper also works. I have 3 building that are steel roofing on strapping and I put a layer of tar paper under the steel. No drips. Insulation gives those unwelcome rodents someplace handy to nest.

NWS Portland forecast shows area rain, drizzle through today (Saturday 6 Dec), tapering off tonight, assuming work was called off.
How about tomorrow?

Yes, about 1" of snow overnight.  Precip changed to snain around 8 this morning.  No outside work was done at the railroad today.

Really appreciate the prolific efforts made to show what you guys are continually doing to expand WW&F, like putting up your maintenance garage, #9's thorough rebuild, TOW mainline advances.
The work atmosphere seems comfortably mellow but very dedicated to excellent work.

The truss erection has been delayed until the Spring.  The weather is too iffy, plus with all this rain I imagine the area is extraordinarily muddy.

It may be work weekend, or later.
