#4 IS BACK!!!!

For the past few weeks, the steam crew secretly snuck #4 back into the engine house, preformed a UT, and passed a hydro which was approved by the FRA. #4 IS BACK FOR POLAR EXPRESS!
She is now wearing a B&M 3-Chime, which is on loan from Conway Scenic! (IT SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL!!) And Bill even made a new whistle chord!

Why, may I ask, is the very first thing you show in your video the picture of someone attacking it with a torch? I thought you were trying to save it, not butcher it...

The stubs were left on after the pilot was cut off. I actually wanted the stubs grinded off so it would look more like a monson engine (and be a safer engine). Now it just needs black paint to cover up the exposed metal.

Hansel, I was being sarcastic. I knew what they were doing, but the torch is the enemy of the steam locomotive. I hate seeing any part of one cut with one.

Oh, oops! My sarcasm detector wasn't working.
Unfortunately, Edaville welded the fake pilot right onto the original metal.

Not far off...
In all seriousness, though, we've been trolling the live steam clubs for volunteers. Turns out there's quite a bit of knowledge in some of these kids that they've been picking up for years from older live steamers.
