Volunteer hours at home
« on: December 31, 2013, 09:44:23 PM »
It's the time of year again where I enter all the volunteer hours and names in a database, shake it up, stir, and come up with a random matching of names with hours.  OK, it's not random, it is matched correctly (as long as I can read the signature and hours!).

If anyone has any time they'd like to claim for work done at home, at the office, on the road, or generally anywhere but on the campus; for work done on behalf of the WW&F that hasn't been otherwise reported, please forward them to me.

James,

I wanted to pass on to you that the first time I received a tally of my hours I thought, wow, what a great way to motivate volunteers at no cost to the Rail Road, other than a bunch of work by you.  I can say that I appreciate having a tally each year as a reflection of my hours of enjoyment 'working on the railroad'.

Thanks an Happy New Year.
