WW&F logo type
« on: June 05, 2013, 11:17:47 PM »
What typeface does the WW&F use on boxcars, etc. and can stencils be purchased at an office supply shop? If it is freelanced, is there a type which is approximate?

The typeface used on the flatcars and locomotive tenders is known as:  BASKERVILLE OLD FACE

The boxcars were not lettered in the 1930's so #309 has no lettering.

I knew you had good taste ;)  Now I need to think of some reference to the Sherlock Holmes adventure, "The Hound of the Baskervilles"

John, no matter what you did you would be barking up the wrong tree.
