I noticed that the "Kubota Dragon" doesn't have its ROPS yet.
Is it in the works soon ?

Everything is in the works Ira. Before B can get on it, it needs a cushy seat and a cup holder too, as well as the ROPS, though the machine seems pretty stable to me. Maybe someone can find a junk tractor someplace with a set on it we can mount, hopefully one with a hinge, so we can make it in the building when it's done.

  Stewart,  What is the going to be the side wall height?  The foundation work really looks very nice along with the drive-way .  Look forward to the next set of pictures on construction progress.    Fred L. Kuhns

Hi Fred,

Lets see ...  The walls will be framed with 10' long 2X6's.  Add the 6" concrete riser with 3" worth of sill and then a 3" (double plate) header on top.  If I figured it right, the rafters will be 11' above the floor.  Good space for working on top of something or jacking up a piece of equipment to work underneath.

John the equipment bays are eleven feet tall then you need at least a couple more feet for the overhead steel and cable racks.

As noted in James' report, the front wall of the garage was framed in yesterday.  The work required some header engineering by Steve Z.  Most of the 2X6's came from Fred's slightly used lumber emporium.  The new windows and metal gap sticks for the roof trusses were delivered yesterday and the roof trusses should be delivered on Tuesday.  Fred and Leon will bring a trailer load of 2X6's and plywood this week and the materials will be staged in front of the garage for ease of handling.

The roof trusses were delivered today and Fred cut 40 ten foot long 2X6's.
