Is this Caboose a newly built one for Edaville

Or is the one above shown is a modified version of this caboose that is posted below?

Hi Matthew, welcome back!

You'll be happy to know that they are two different cars.  The first one is one of the cars but for the "new" Edaville, by Hamilton Engineering.  The second caboose was built by the "old" Edaville, probably from B&SR parts.  It remains in its "as built" condition save for "new" Hamilton trucks.

Hope this helps!

I just saw a YouTube video taken recently at Sheepscot Station and noticed Edaville Caboose #554 in the background.  She was up on blocks near the shop building.

Can someone enlighten us further?

Thanks!

The Edaville caboose is actually on private property, not on ours.  One of our neighbors is actively involved in building new Edaville equipment and restoring other equipment.  However it's in a prominent place near our tracks, so everybody asks about it.  Free Edaville advertising, maybe?
