Maybe you should try looking for someone on the West Coast that knows where that engine is.
Then you can ask them to go and look.
Does this ranch RR you speak of have a website? If so, you can try looking there for contact information.

[Moderators note, I have edited/removed some of the posts in this thread.]

Hi Matt,

What Pete is trying to say is that he (and a few other members) are starting to tire of topics that are not WW&F related when there are alternative discussion forums available. In this particular case, there is a web site that you know of that either has the information that you are looking for (is the Forney at Pacific Coast possibly 2ft) or will have people there you can email to ask.

*If* the answer is yes, it is a 2 footer (which I doubt) then *maybe* you could post that info here (as another 2 footer) with something like "I just found a new (to me) two-footer! Pacific Coast Railroad has a Forney in storage..." etc. We might discuss the similarities between that loco and those used on the WW&F or other Maine two-footers.

Thanks,

-Ed
