Paul, et. al.
I have worked with Mike and he is a good planner and working foreman. Have no doubts on his abilities, he is capable.

Such poetry in prose.
Thank you.

I have dreamed a plan.

Using all tip cars, run to end of track and dump in place.
Bulldoze the piles into the washout.
Return train to loading point. Use the Kabota Dragon to fill.
Load tip cars and repeat until filled.

This assumes the fill material is closer than Alna.

OK, it's only a dream.

Having visited many operations throughout the U.S., Joe is absolutely correct.
A good example of how not to present is located just over an hour south of the WW&F.

Great results on what could have been a long and arduous path.
I am very encouraged by what has been accomplished to date and my thanks for all the work.
Onward to 218.

I,too. had the same frustration. I signed up and found a lack of useful items as well as no real museum support.

Peter Rickershauser resides in Denver and is a good friend of mine. He still does rail consulting and serves on several boards.

He did a recent presentation, on the N&W rail strike that changed the face of U.S. railroads in the 1980's, for our local NRHS chapter.

He is a great fan of the WW&F. and all things Maine two footers.

B&SR tank car:

Has the Grants group tried Exxon Mobil for a grant?  I started this several years ago but I did not follow up.
