« on: January 19, 2021, 08:19:32 PM »
Hey all,
I've fallen back down the model railroading black hole.  Does anyone know where i can find blueprints of the WW&F flatcars?  Mainly i am looking for the sill dimensions and placement.
thank you

I asked Sonja if I could sleep in the trunk of my car for spring work weekend and got a hard no.  I’m guessing that extends to rv’s.

Ok, I was more wondering if there would be anyone there with a plan.  Also, is there anything I can do when I get there Friday night?

Are there any plans to cut that big group of hemlocks on the inside of the curve south of sawmill curve?

Is there any way we could charge $1 and make our first revenue freight run?

I know there is a seemingly endless amount of things to do up there.  I was more wondering if there was any step in prepping the railbed I was missing.

Looks like you got a bunch of work done, wish I could have been there.  After those last trees are cut is there anything to du until spring when mike can smooth out the grade?

Railroad rides rough on rumps can reduce rider retention resulting in rejected restorations.

What are the meanings of the different colors?  I’m guessing the major colors are different branches, but what are the small red changes?  Especially the ones just north of Wiscasset.

I think the long term plan is the expansion of the car barn, this year?  And I thought that the rail car would be good because it has that inbuilt lifting mechanism, and is thin.  it would by no means be a good long term plan but it would be nice to keep the refurbished stuff from languishing outside while storage is expanded.
