Museum Discussion / Rail

Hi,
I heard today on the radio that Reed & Reed Inc of Woolwich, got a $12 million dollar contract for some rehab at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. As part of the rehab work they are going to be removing old rail out of the yard. It said there was over 1000 feet of track to be removed. Maybe they could be convinced that it would be a good thing to donate it to the WW&F.

Maine Narrow Gauge RR Co. & Museum / Steam engine fire at MNG

I was watching the news this morning and they said there was a fire on the steam engine at MNG. Has anyone heard any more info?

pieces range from 10 to 20ft tracks from old lumber mill. husband passed away and i have no use for them. have about 12-15

I was looking through Uncle Henry's and someone has listed what they say are 2 Railroad stoves.

Two wood coal stoves used in railroad cars real small all cast iron $300 One comford wood coal stove like round oak $200. All stoves are very good. Lisbon, ME
