Title: Two footer in Rusk, Texas
Post by: Ira Schreiber on May 06, 2011, 09:59:21 PM
While in Rusk, Texas last week looking over the Texas State Railroad, my host, Fred Brandt, took me directly across the highway and lo and behold in the undergrowth were a set of 2' rails. On standard gauge ties and about 75# rail.
This was an ill started 2' railroad that never ran. There is about 1/3 mile of track and one industrial push cart chained to the rail.
I did get a few pixs and I will try to post. Otherwise, nothing more is known about it.
