Right on, Steve! I look forward to breakfast at Ship's every time I'm in Maine! It's one of the highlights of the trip, and in recent years, dinner on Thursday at The Sea Basket is also great fun.

concerning FWW: I'll be up to volunteer Sat. and will stay for Sun. if there's room in the bunkhouse or if someone has room to share. Can't afford to motel it.

I'm with you, Steve, about "the lodge" and their choice to not be open for the SWW. It was totally full this year for the SWW. I know, I was able to luck out and get the last open room. But, that said, the other days until the middle of May are probably not totally full and running a business like that is about profit. A business has to do what's best for the business. James has been kind enough to list a number of other local and not so local facilities that will be able to house any of us who need a place to rest our heads for the SWW.

Friday: 
Dana's Crew:  connect and tamp shop leads.  Prep for mill spur work

Saturday:
Dana's Crew: extend mill spur, ballast, tamp
Foreman TBD: complete tamping on main line mountain extension
Jason's Crew: construct retaining wall at Humason Brook Trestle


Sunday:
Dana's Crew: main line tamping, lining, ballast dressing
Second Crew:

Monday:
Dana's Crew: main line lining- focus on Cock Eye North

On-going efforts:
Zack will lead the carpenters to rebuild the Percival Houe Doors
Jason (that's me) will be in the shop leading efforts on no 10 (probably except Saturday)

Before I forget, my wife is joining me on the trip this FWW.  Although she has folks to visit and some shopping, I have asked her to spend one day at the museum.  What day is the kitchen crew most in need of extra help?  We are also bringing homemade cookies for either lunch or dinner.  How many should we bake?

Not yet John, however current replacement count for the year is 13, 1 more than we did last year so far. And we have done some surfacing which is also exciting.

Any main line trains will need to be planned accordingly with all the main line work going on, any train operations may only happen between A/C and EOT during the day but this will all depend on the extent of how in depth the main line projects get.
